PAYMENT

Payments must be made either before, or on the day of your appointment. My preferred payment method is BACS transfer. A deposit may be required at the time of booking.


YOUR EXPERIENCE

I hope that your experience with Rebecca Jones Makeup is enjoyable. I pride myself on providing a quality service for all of my clients. If however, you are not completely satisfied with any aspect of your experience, please contact me with your concerns. I will endeavor to rectify them quickly and sensitively.


CANCELLATIONS

Where possible, please give 24 hours of notice if you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. Rebecca Jones reserves the right to make a 50% charge for cancellations made after this time.

In the event of an accident, severe illness or adverse weather conditions affecting my ability to carry out your appointment, I will rearrange your appointment free of charge. If you have booked a makeup appointment for a special occasion, and I am unable to get to you, I will refund 100% of the fee.

If at any time you or a member of your group behaves inappropriately or abusively (verbally or physically), your appointment will be cut short and you will not be refunded. Further action will be taken where necessary.


WEDDINGS

Makeup Trials:

I will not apply makeup to a bride on their wedding day unless they have had a makeup trial with me. Members of the bridal party are welcome to have a trial but they are not a requirement.

I understand there are rare occasions where a trial is not possible, in which case I will ask you to sign a disclaimer. This confirms that you will not hold me responsible should you be disappointed with the outcome and/or longevity of your makeup.

Deposits:

A £65.00 deposit must be paid to secure your wedding date within 7 days of receiving the invoice. The remaining balance on your wedding makeup invoice must be paid in full 7 days before your wedding day.

The £65 covers the cost of your bridal trial and a booking fee. If your trial has taken place and my services for your wedding day are cancelled under any circumstances, this money will not be returned as the trial service in your bridal package will have been completed.

If you booked your wedding before May 2020 different deposit T&Cs will apply – I can provide a copy of these on request.

Cancellations:

Deposits are non-refundable after 14 days. Cancellations within 14 days of the wedding day will be charged 75% of the total fee. Cancellations within 7 days of the wedding will be charged 100% of the total fee. Cancellations must be made in writing via letter or email, after which you will receive written confirmation of your cancellation and any cancellation charges that have been levied.

In the event of an accident, severe illness or adverse weather conditions affecting myself getting to you on your wedding day, I will try to find a replacement makeup artist, who will be able to replicate your makeup look using my notes and photos. In the event that I cannot find anyone to cover me, then I would provide a full refund for your wedding day services (excluding the initial £65.00 providing your trial had taken place). I cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by events beyond my control.

If at any time you or a member of your group behaves inappropriately or abusively (verbally or physically), your appointment will be cut short and you will not be refunded. Further action will be taken where necessary.

COVID-19:

If your wedding is cancelled due to the affects of COVID-19, your deposit and any monies paid towards towards total cost would be transferred to a new date providing I am available. A price increase may apply if you move your date to a different year.

If I am unavailable on your new date and your trial has not yet taken place I will provide a partial refund of your deposit, plus any monies paid towards the total cost. If your trial has taken place you will not be eligible for a deposit refund as the trial service in your package will have been completed.

I have a COVID-19 policy in place, which must be adhered to by you and your bridal party in order for my makeup services to go ahead. A copy of this is available on request.

 

Adding or Reducing Services:

You can make changes to your booking at the discretion of Rebecca Jones Makeup Artist. However, if the number of people for makeup is reduced you may be required to pay the full amount agreed at the time of booking.

It is not always possible to add extra people to your booking because of timings. Please discuss any potential changes with me before confirming them with your bridal party to avoid disappointment.
