Nice to meet youā¦
Hello, Iām Rebecca. A thirty something makeup artist with a big heart and a proper northern soul. Youāll find me around Leeds creating feel-good makeup looks and being the best honorary bridesmaid I can be.
Makeup is my passion. But it’s not just about the makeup for me. I love meeting new people and helping them to feel like their most fabulous self. My style is fresh and modern with a fashion forward flair.Ā
Having worked as a primary teacher in the past, being organised, reliable and detail oriented is ingrained in my very being. Alongside this I have a fun loving, down to earth nature. These characteristics are at the forefront of my business – meaning I provide a highly professional service with a calm, friendly spirit.
Iām beauty obsessed, a glitter enthusiast and have āexcellent at smokey eyesā at the top of my skills list. But as a busy mum, I donāt wear a lot of makeup and Iām all for a natural vibe. So whether you love makeup or it terrifies you, Iāve got your back.
I got married in Leeds city centre in 2022. I loved planning our wedding but it was definitely a rollercoaster! Now I combine my wedding supplier expertise with my experience of being bride to support nearlyweds. Follow me @rebeccajonesweddingmakeup for planning tips, inspiration and, of course, wedding makeup.Ā

How my journey began.
I canāt tell you the classic story, the one where Iāve adored makeup since I was a little girl and itās all Iāve ever dreamed of. My journey to becoming a makeup artist took a little longer. Naturally, I dabbled in blue mascara and body glitter like any self-respecting 90ās child. However, it wasnāt until I received a few makeup products as a 19thĀ birthday present, that a little spark ignited, and I began to fall in love with the world of makeup.
Now, at this point in my life I was already on my way to becoming a primary teacher. A few years later fate intervened, and I found myself reconsidering my options. Blogging was taking off and it looked like fun. I began a beauty blog, Beau Blushes, as a hobby and realised had a flair for makeup application and creativity. I fell head over heels for makeup, made the leap and begin a new chapter as a makeup artist.
I resigned from teaching and tottered off to London. The prestigious Academy of Freelance Makeup was my chosen makeup school. There I was taught by world renowned artists and left with skills in fashion, editorial and bridal makeup.
Since then Iāve worked across many areas of the industry. Iām still passionate about avant-garde and editorial makeup, and love being involved in shoots where I can create with a team. However, wedding makeup has my heart and is where Iāve made my mark. I love helping people to feel incredible on their wedding day. Thereās something magical about wedding mornings and itās such a privilege to be present in those special moments.
I started my bridal business in the Lake District in 2014. In recent years life and love has taken me to Leeds. Ā Even after all these years I still get excited butterflies before every wedding. When you book with me, Iām with you every step, from the moment you enquire to the last touch of lipstick before you walk down the aisle.
